March 5, 2014: 5 Months

This little boy keeps on growing even though we keep telling him not to! At 5 months he is a whopping 17 pounds. He is a joy to be around, but has his difficult moment just like everyone else. There were a few times this past month that the only way to get him to stop screaming and eat (always during the witching hour) was to fill up the bathtub. Then I would get in with him and nurse him partly in the water! Joe really came to the rescue when he came up with that solution, and it worked every time! Ezra's our little water baby. 

This month Ezra has also started picking up items by cupping them in his hand. He loves popping his pacifier in and out of his mouth when we try to put him down for naps. His other activities include fake coughing, scratching and feeling different textures, and sticking his hands in Mom's mouth as much as possible. We can't get enough.
